"You're Beautiful" was such a great drama. I really really really hope it comes back for a second season. I can't get enough of my Geun Sukie. ^^

Hongki, Yong Hwa, and Shin Hye won New Star Awards and Geun Suk won a Young People's Star Award for "You're Beautiful"! Yayyyyyy!

2009 Melon Music Awards

So...heh...I ended up staying up all night watching it live on Solinren instead of sleeping for my final. 2PM! 2NE1! G-dragon (via video)! No SHINee :(

2PM's Top 10 performance was soooo...AMAZING! The intro totally made my entire night/morning :D

Yeeee! They used all their songs on the 1:59 album.
OMFG Khun + All Night Long = pervy fangirl spazz out. (I will totally blog about this song soon.)
"Heartbeat" was perfection, as always. These guys never disappoint :)

2NE1 performed "Fire" and "I Don't Care" for their Top 10 stage. I've almost forgotten how great the girls' performances are. It's been a while since they've done a performance as a whole 4. So powerful compared to all the other girl groups.


And they did a DJ Schedule1 remix of "Let's Go Party" for the super girl group joint stage! So dooope :D


AND THEY WON THE NEW ARTIST AWARD! That's right, they totally deserve this one too.

GD won Album of the Year :D Despite all the controversy, he still comes out on top. It's nearly impossible to dethrone him.

And on top of all this awesomeness that is the Melon Music Awards, Sukie was a perfect MC along with Shin Hye. "Hyungnim!!!" Gah, I want "You're Beautiful" back...RIGHT NOW. Give us a 2nd season!
Now I just have to find all the MCing parts with subs so I know exactly what they were saying and being so cute about.

Just can't help myself

Seriously, I'm trying to study, but when something is as boring as my Greek Mythology class is, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep my mind off of my Korean boys/guys. They're just so much more interesting than the "almighty" gods of Mt. Olympus. Sorry Zeus, but the only Almighty one for me is Key.

I keep thinking about the Melon Music Awards tonight. I cannot find anywhere that's streaming it live. I can't even find the channel it's broadcasting on. I want to watch sooo bad. My ultra hottie Sukie is MCing with Park Shin Hye!!! Ahhh "You're Beautiful" mini-reunion. AND there's gonna be a girl group mega performance w/ 2NE1, SNSD, Brown Eyed Girls and Kara. And I bet there will be a ton of great performances by all my faves. *sigh*

Highlight of my day:
I was driving back from LA with my mom and I was listening to 2PM and she said that they sound good. Yay! I am slowly getting my family to like K-pop.

Guh....back to Greek Myth while I wait.

Rain!

...not the beloved Ninja Assassin actor (although, that would be nice too), but the weather kind. First rainy day of the 2009 Winter and I'm listening to my ULTIMATE 158 song/9.5 hour K-love playlist. It is arguably the best way I can spend the first day of the last week of school. The only thing better would be if I was walking around campus in the rain with Seungri, Taec, Khun, Changmin, Jonghyun, Key or Geun Suk. Kekeke. Any one of them (or combo...or all) would be fine with me ;D

Found out from my sister than Khunnie was born and raised in Rancho Cucamonga! Only half and hour away from me. He's a SoCal boy FTW!! <3

Jang Geun Suk

I woke up to this pleasant surprise today on allkpop :)

Too bad it's only sold in Japan. I would love to have him hanging on my wall.

My Jang Geun Suk story:
When I was watching "You're Beautiful" I liked ShinWoo first, but then (as always) I ended up falling and rooting for the main guy character, TaeKyung. He's snobby and full of himself, yet soooo adorable because he's fallen in love with the girl he's supposed to hate. He's such a great actor and on top of that, a super cutie.
Wanting to see more of Geun Suk's work, I watched "Baby and Me". He proved that he could be a good father! Super plus points in my book. And now I'm in the middle of "Beethoven Virus". OMGAH! He's just so sweet and tough and loving and I hate Du Ru Mi for what she's done to him so far.

Sukie's got a killer smile (and body). It makes me melt.
