K-Pop blog +1

I made a Tumblr blog for more of my K-Pop madness. It's going to be a huge collection of pics and videos and whatnot of the loves. Tumblr = massive source of eye candy. Go check it out!

And I just want to say, fuckyeahkpopmacros is the ultimate win of life.
"here to give you guys a good laugh (:
cause seriously, our kpop idols have the epik-est faces ever ."

Hello Baby!

cr: wearshining.com

O.M.G! I am so excited for this :) They're doing season 2 of Hello Baby. I never watched the first season with SNSD, but if the show is anything like 2AM's Love Escort, then this is going to be AWESOME! And even if it's not, it will still be awesome because idol boys + babies = EPIC CUTENESS WIN! And, it's a good sneak peek to see if they'll be good fathers in the future ;)

I can picture it already. Key is going to be the overly-concerned umma (the kid is sitting in Key's lap already), Onew is the laid-back appa, Taemin will be the cute hyung, Minho is the serious hyung, and Jjong is the silly hyung.

Okay, I did my research. Thank you, SNSD's Wikipedia article.
Since June 23, 2009, the group has been on a reality series titled Girls' Generation's Hello Baby, on cable network KBS Joy, where they take care of a baby named "Cho Kyungsan" (Korean: "조경산") and each week they (or an invited male guest, called the 'daily dad') select the "Best Mom" and "Worst Mom" from among the members according to their contribution in taking care of Kyungsan for the day. The show ended on November 17, 2009.

So, I wonder who the boys are going to get for the "daily moms"...
This is like SHINee's Yunhanam, but with a kid instead of a noona!

Key + Amber = AmKey

This is one of my fave Key vids. Krystal is doing some behind-the-scenes for SM's 2009 Dream concert. This is the only subbed version I could find on YT.
cr: tinkletinkle123

(0:08) Yes, that was Key saying "star" really loud in the background.
(0:11) Sisters in the same company :D They only kind of look alike.
(0:47) *screenshot* Cuuuute!
(0:54) His English voice is so nice sounding ♥
(1:01) Jjong looks like Jung Yong Hwa here. Weird.
(1:06) So understandable! And you're talking about me right, Key boo?
(1:09) This is why I call him "Key boo"
(1:11) LOL! Key calls her "he"
(1:15) "Hyung" is what a guy calls an older guy. Amber's awesome for not caring if he calls her a guy. AmKey are really good friends :)
(1:33) How does bizzare and lizard sound the same, Key?
(1:37) Leave it up to Taemin to laugh at his umma
(1:46) The way he complains is so cute! *spazz*
(1:49) Key's baby voice = ♥
(2:01) Yes, boo, you are indeed so hot ;) He does the "I'm so fineee" part of the Wondergirls' "So Hot" dance. Of course he would. lol

MBC Gayo Daejun

Yay! The 3rd and final Gayo Daejun event!
I didn't watch this one live either. A girl needs sleep, yaknow?

Yet another long and video-filled post. Read and watch after the Jump!

KBS Gayo Daejun

Didn't watch this one live :( I can't handle the 5am - 8am thing three days in a row.
Thank goodness for allkpop's recaps and the generosity of Youtube :)

This is another long post full of videos. Read and watch after the Jump!

SBS Gayo Daejun Recap [Part 1]

This is going to be MASSIVE. I will probably have to divide this up somehow...

I'm just going to go along with my tweets and add the post-commentary and videos (or just the links) as I go down the list.
My tweets from the live stream will be in blue italics. Regular commentary in normal type.

Uber Christmas Special Commentary (Part 1)

First up...*drumroll*...Music Bank! (Christmas Day, KST)

1. SHINee [plus f(x) and SNSD]
Ring Ding Dong

cr: Randy19975
Gotta love the Ring Ding Dong outfits. So badass ;)
0:16 = Mmm sexy Jonghyun wave.
0:43 = Straight to the rap!
0:45 = I like when Minho wears his hair like that...iono why.
0:47 = Key's rap, lip touch and punch*drool*
1:24 = If I'm not mistaken, Taemin's shirt says Diet Cake. ROFL.
1:30 = Yay! f(x) joins the dance :D

End of Gee + Jingle Bell Rock

cr: BigBangSHINeeWorld
Of course, it's Key and Taemin who join the dance. ;) Dancing machines!
Just realized that SM Town probably has the most clear and understandable English out of all the other major companies. Key studied in Los Angeles and Jessica, Tiffany, Amber and Krystal are all from Cali.

2. 2PM
Intro (Silent Night) + Again & Again + Heartbeat

cr: moon2ml
Hmmm...so now they're Zombie Puppets??? A strange concept for Christmas...
I like the sparkly suits though :)
1:07 = *sigh* empty Leadja space
1:48 = It's weird not seeing Junsu's sleeves rolled up lol
2:07 = WTF! Don't shoot the boys!!!
2:29 = LOL the glove pattern doesn't match the shirt pattern
2:49 = Omo! Channie ripped out Taec's heart instead of pushing him over. Evil! >:)
4:53 = Khunnie's gonna try rip Taec's heart out but Taec won't let that happen...sorry Khunnie. Super evil!

3. 2NE1
Fire + I Don't Care

cr: AS2ne1
Mix of the two costumes.
Lovin' CL's "mohawk" :)
It's bugging me...they're ever so slightly off on the vocals. They sound tired too. :(
C'mon girls! I know you can do better :/

I'll write Part 2 (Music Core) after I have some sleep in me. It's almost 4am already x_x

So. Freaking. Excited!!! I LOVE end of the year specials. They're just so choc-full of greatness.

Just can't help myself

Seriously, I'm trying to study, but when something is as boring as my Greek Mythology class is, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep my mind off of my Korean boys/guys. They're just so much more interesting than the "almighty" gods of Mt. Olympus. Sorry Zeus, but the only Almighty one for me is Key.

I keep thinking about the Melon Music Awards tonight. I cannot find anywhere that's streaming it live. I can't even find the channel it's broadcasting on. I want to watch sooo bad. My ultra hottie Sukie is MCing with Park Shin Hye!!! Ahhh "You're Beautiful" mini-reunion. AND there's gonna be a girl group mega performance w/ 2NE1, SNSD, Brown Eyed Girls and Kara. And I bet there will be a ton of great performances by all my faves. *sigh*

Highlight of my day:
I was driving back from LA with my mom and I was listening to 2PM and she said that they sound good. Yay! I am slowly getting my family to like K-pop.

Guh....back to Greek Myth while I wait.
